At some point in our lives, when we are starting our university or going to an institute, we think does the CGPA have any effect on students’ lives? But the truth is that role of CGPA plays a very critical role in students’ lives.
The primary measure of a student’s academic achievement is their cumulative grade point average (CGPA). A student can be judge by their CGPA.
In today’s competitive world, where in every field there is too much competition, only students with good CGPA are selected for jobs. Because the CGPA can be used to judge the overall performance of the students.
Role of CGPA
CGPA can play a very crucial role in somebody’s life, or for someone it doesn’t matter. the person who have to get the job or want to get a degree in specific institute will have to get good CGPA but on the other hand if someone is studying to enjoy, it doesnt matter for him.
But CGPA can play a very important role in your life. Like teachers can judge students with CGPA. Here are some points where CGPA plays very important role.
Academic performance
Your CGPA shows how much you have done in your studies. A good CGPA means that you have worked hard in your course and you know the maximum thing from the course. You have studied properly and gained the skills properly from that course.
For example, if you have a good CGPA in CS (computer sciences), it means that you have worked hard for that course and you gained maximum knowledge from that course, and the hiring companies will prefer you for a job because of good CGPA.
Thats why you should maintain a good CGPA, and you should work hard from the beginning so you can gain maximum knowledge. Get good semester grade point average (SGPA) in every semester you will have good CGPA at the end
Always remember that CGPA is like an identity card of your life you have to show CGPA while getting job and for many other things.

Getting a job while having a good CGPA makes it easier to get it.
Some of the companies while hiring, shortlist the candidates. Candidates with good CGPA or percentage always have advantage.

If you plan to study further. A good cgpa makes it easier to get admission and some of the institute or universities also provide scholarships for students with good CGPA.
And also some of the courses have set there criteria to enroll in the program. If you have good CGPA you have advantage that you can easily enroll in that course

Good CGPA can help you to get scholarships and financial aids. If you want to study further and you have a good CGPA you can avail scholarship easily.
You can also be given a scholarship by same institute to study further just because of good CGPA
